This year I got to celebrate my birthday a few times! My actual birthday was on the night of the LDS priesthood conference, so while the guys were there I went to a bridal shower at my aunt (in-law's) house with all the women! I got to leave early though so my wonderful man could take me to one of our favorite restaurants! The Timber Mine which happens to be the restaurant we went to on our first date (which was also my birthday) and the restaurant Elias took me to on the night he proposed :) It is a steakhouse that everyone should experience! It was such a great night just the two of us enjoying each others company.
A couple day before my birthday I also had the opportunity to have a huge joint birthday with my sister, brother in law and my cousin! We celebrated at my Aunt and Uncles house and it was so fun to be together! I haven't celebrated my birthday with my sister in a LONG time! And it is always fun when we can because our birthdays are the 5th and 6th of October :)
At this party we ate a delicious meal (I talk about food alot!!) and not to mention the desserts!!!! My grandma is a wizard when it comes to baking and she offered to make each one of us the dessert of our choice! I choose pumpkin cheesecake every year and it never disappoints.
Last but not lease we got to spend time with our adorable niece Lucia who we only get to see every once and awhile.
Last but not least we were able to celebrate my birthday at a brunch with my in laws! Every conference weekend my mother in-law throws a big brunch for everyone to come eat and watch General Conference! It makes for a good day (and an extra special day when we are celebrating my birthday) The one thing I told Elias I wanted was a donut cake! And he definitely pulled it off perfectly!
