Cycling!

Last year Elias got really into cycling, he bought a gorgeous bike and started dedicating a good amount of time training. His plan was to start racing this year, so when the snow started melting he was back at it! 

His first race was the East Canyon Bike Race. It was a 60(ish) mile race and I went to it with him! He was extremely nervous, but also extremely ready :) 

I wasn't able to be at the finish line, so I waited with the rest of the families down by where they start line was and where they were going to do awards. When they started announcing winners Elias wasn't there yet... I was starting to get pretty nervous that he was going to miss it so I called him a few times with no answer.

They announced the category 5 winner's and I heard them say "Elias Green" I started freaking out and I kept thinking are they starting with first place or 3rd place???? I had no idea but either way he podiumed and I was freaking out!!! 

I finally saw him come down the hill to where I was and it turned out he got FIRST!!!! I was so incredibly proud of him; first place in his first race :) I know how hard he worked and he deserved it! 

The next race he did was the Antelope Island Classic. And he podiumed again with second place!!

Rob came to support as well :)

Dad raced too and loved it! Look at these handsome guys!

Since Antelope Elias has also done the Bear Lake race which I couldn't be at (I was running the Ogden Half Marathon) 

And tomorrow he is doing a Crit race in Sugar House.

I'm so proud of you babe keep it up!! I love you :)
