Crafting

My mother in law is a pretty crafty lady;  one weekend she showed me a pillow she was making and the second I saw it I knew I had to make one!! 

(Here is my mother in law's before it was finished) 

It is made from tons of old wool that her and her sister have collected over the year and shrunk. 

I took a close up picture to look at the different stitches. Around the flowers, leafs and bunny was a blanket stitch and the vine is a chain stitch, which I love!!

I decided to make it for my mom's birthday, which I thought was perfect since it is a very springy pillow and her birthday is in April.

I think it turned out pretty dang cute!!

I also recently made a wreath with some extra wool flowers 

I have wanted to get a wreath from the day we moved into our house but I HATE how expensive they are. So once I had all these flowers I just bought the wreath for $3.99 and and hot glued the flowers on!

Yay for crafting :)
