Tacoma Trip

My sister Jaqui had her second baby this February and the whole fam made the trip to Washington to be there for his blessing! Elias had never been to Washington so we were pretty dang excited!

While there we caravaned over to Point Defiance. While caravanning we all had our phones on speaker And Jaqui and Travis were our tour guides. Pointing out beautiful or interesting things along the way. We were told that Point Defiance is the second biggest park in the US Next to Central Park.

We ate Indian good for lunch at a farmers market
Stopped at an adorable diner called Shake Shake Shake, where Elias and I shared this creamsicle float.

Took pictures in front of cool stuff
And Met this beautiful baby boy!

Although it was short it was so nice to spend some time with my sis and her family who we rarely get to see!

Lucia was so fun, girlie, sweet and energetic she warmed right up to Elias and I the second we got there! and Enzo has the most calm and sweet spirit I Absolutely loved cuddling him.
Before we left we took a picture with the kids :) I LOVE THEM

Then to finish off the trip we did some sight seeing in good ol Seattle. The traffic was awful. But it was a good time killer!

Until next time Tacoma

Little Hollywood (kanab utah)

Elias had to go to Kanab for work and when I found out I HAD TO go with him! So after work we packed our bags and got on the road.  On the way down Elias told me I got to choose where we stayed and I chose the cutest little motel. It was just recently remodeled it I loved it! They had complimentary bikes for each room and complimentary breakfast at "The Victorian" hotel across the street :)
While Elias was working I went on a bike ride, sat out in the sun and went antique shopping!!
And took a few selfies ha ha
Here are the things that I LOVED at the antique store
I ended up buying the antlers and I am planning on painting them and hanging them in our office :)

I also bought an adorable dress and pocket book at the local thrift store. I definitely scored down there in that little desert town.

After shopping I drove around a little more while waiting for Elias. They call Kanab "little hollywood" because back in the day almost every western movie was filmed there! They have a little museum with all the old sets and lining the Main Street there are plaques with pictures of the actors and little biographies!

It was a short trip but it was fun to get out of k town, and I always loved heading south!!

My blogging comeback... JANUARY

2013 started out so well!  I got a new job that I love, as a dental assistant, and Elias and I were able to ski... alot!!

I married into a family who believes that "A family that skis together stays together".  And I totally agree!  Every year the Morgan family (my mother in law's side of the family) takes an annual ski trip to the Grand Targhee Resort up on the border of Idaho and Wyoming.  This trip has gone on for 43 years and I am so glad that I was finally able to be a part of it. The trip consists of skiing, eating, skiing, hot tubbing, skiing, sleeping and more skiing!  It is so so fun! The Morgan family occupies most of the resort so it is such a blast to be able to go from room to room talking to any of the 50+ family members that are there!  It is also incredibly fun because you can ski right up to your hotel room door. :) I could go on and on about how incredible the trip was and how much I improved on  my skiing, I truly loved it so much and can't wait to go back this year!

That wood behind us? No it is not a wall.. it is most definitely a murphy bed! that is reserved for the newly wed couples in the family AKA us!

I don't know if I have ever mentioned HOW HOT my husband is while skiing..(and all the time) but seriously look at him!

Skiing with my husband has become one of my favorite things to do! And although I LOVE summer and everything to do with it, I can't wait for January to go on this trip again!
