The WORST day of my pregnancy

Today I woke up a little before 6am just moaning with pain. I was having the worst sharp stomach pains I've ever experienced and the baby was moving around like crazy. I could not get comfortable and I couldn't figure out if I was going to throw up (like the flu) or if it was pregnancy related.
Elias was so sweet and tried comforting me and even went and bought me a sprite. Then he headed to work and I was there in bed.. Still couldn't really decided what was going on. I was supposed to be at work at 10 but since these pains weren't easing up I texted my boss and told her I wouldn't be in today.
More time went on and I still wasn't feeling better (and the baby was still moving like crazy! In a way I have never felt before) so I decided to call my doctor. Of course they didn't answer so I had to leave a message and no joke like 5 minutes later I was running to the bathroom and threw up to the point where I was just dry heaving. Although it was horrible it at least answered my question where I'm sick or if there's something wrong with the baby.
After that I climbed back into bed and called my doctor again. This time they answered and I told the nurse what was going on. Since this is my first time being sick and pregnant I just wanted to ask her if there was anything I needed to watch out for or needed to treat differently. She said I just need to treat it the same as any other flu but I just need to be even more conscious about staying hydrated, since dehydration can throw you into preterm labor. :/
So Elias came home for lunch and brought me some Gatorade, sprite and crackers.
I kept trying to stay hydrated but I couldn't even keep liquid down. (I was throwing up every hour) so I decided to try to sleep some more.
When I finally woke up I felt like I could drink some water and since then I've been able to drink a little more of both water and Gatorade.
I'm not going to lie though I still feel like I could throw up at any time :( I never thought anything could be worse than the flu.. But having the flu while pregnant is a million times worse. The combination of sharp stomach cramping/flu feeling and a baby non stop twisting, turning and kicking (I'm sure she doesn't like all the sounds and the stress of my stomach contracting as I throw up)
And now Elias got home and got straight in bed.. I think he has it too :(

Wish us luck!!
