Breakfast all the way from NYC

Last night I went to pick Elias up from the airport.  He was flying in from a 4 day business trip to Puerto Rico.  His flight got in at 10:45 pm and he departed Puerto Rico at like 11 am Puerto Rican time.  Talk about a long day!!!

So I got to the airport at like 10:20 pm and instantly fell asleep in the park and wait lot.  Seriously I was so tired I didn't even lean my seat back. I just tilted my head back (I'm sure my mouth was just wide open catching flies, and I'm also sure the people parked on either side of me were probably staring at me!).  Anywho I woke up to a text from Elias saying he had landed and I was so so happy!  It is always hard being away from that handsome man! I told Elias to text me when he was walking outside and I fell back asleep.

It took quite awhile for him to text me back because he couldn't find his bag! Fortunately he found it as last last couple bags were circling around and around.  He is thinking someone else must have grabbed it and then realized it wasn't their's and put it back on the belt.  Because he said he was watching all of the bags like a hawk!

Anyway I pull up to the passenger pick up and there is my handsome husband! Seriously I had no idea the airport would be so busy at 11 o'clock on a thursday night, but serious that place was hopping. Elias had to walk through a sea of people to get to the car and when he was like 3 yards out one of the traffic/security guards knocked on my window to see if my person I was picking up was already there. No sir I'm just waiving and smiling at a random stranger who is opening my passenger door :| got to love airports right?

So although Elias had an extremely stressful day of travel and a 4.5 hour layover in NYC he still managed to bring me a gift! He brought me THEE cutest little cupcakes from a bakery called Baked by Melissa.  This guy knows the way to my heart; sweets+cuteness+mini anything is my favorite! I normally eat, wear, or use things the second I get them but I decided to save these little cuppy cakes for the morning!

And here we are.  Eating my breakfast all the way from NYC and playing with my new camera in this morning light :)

And now I am going to get get ready to go to the DMV lucky me!! (really though it's been almost 3 weeks since my license expired and we are driving to St. George today so it is much needed!!)
